It can be the freedom to reflect the ideas lurking behind the pressure of question such as to what is existence. Who is the almighty? Who am i not? etc . Viewpoint could be a individual's beliefs. Philosophy dates back quite a while. It began with Plato talking about platonic forms, shifting onto Socrates who applied analogies. In my experience philosophy can be described as way of thinking, thinking, and understanding. People can understand the thinking behind things and they can easily discover different varieties of thinking. Viewpoint is defined as: the pursuit of knowledge; a search to get a general comprehension of values and reality simply by chiefly speculative rather than observational means. This is actually the written definition of philosophy, but I think beliefs can't be described to just words. It's more than words. Beliefs to me is usually an attempt to comprehend the world.
